Matthew Wilkins Recognised at 40 Under 40
Venergy’s CEO Matthew Wilkins was recognised in the 2021 “40 Under 40” Awards – South Australia’s Top 40 Leaders Under 40.
Wilkins earned a place among 40 finalists, who come from across industries and sectors, from startups to large corporations, but they are united in their passion for South Australia.
“Out of 700 nominations, I am very proud to be named a Citymag InDaily 2021 ‘Top 40 Under 40’. With the volume and quality of nominees this year, it was a real privileged to share the stage with South Australia’s brightest and talented business leaders and entrepreneurs,” said Wilkins.
“It’s truly inspiring to see all of these young leaders kicking goals in their respective fields, the future looks bright for South Australia.”
A Serial Entrepreneur and an electrician by profession, Wilkins, is a big believer in educating our next generation on the importance of environmental sustainability and carbon reduction.
“I am passionate about environmental sustainability and carbon reduction and am proud to know that we are making a real difference in the lives of so many South Australians and the next generation.”
With an established reputation for building and managing premium technical service companies, Wilkins directs a national solar and electrical company that operates in all states of Australia (except for WA), and a national installation company of high-end commercial digital signs.
“I am committed to building my future in Adelaide and building businesses in Adelaide which provide value and opportunities to other South Australians.”
About 40 Under 40 Awards
The 40 Under 40 Awards celebrate the impact South Australia’s finest young business people have on shaping the future of our state. The program honors not only the personal determination and commercial drive of these leaders but also the philanthropic pursuits that balance these individuals’ professional achievements.
Since its inception in 2018, the awards have been a much-anticipated event in South Australia, with more than 200 applicants vying for the 40 places each year.
