Highway Meat

Project Details

Doing things effectively is key in gaining competitive advantage. Highway Meat believed this when they commissioned VENERGY to install a 30 kW PV System in their modern state-of-the-art factory at Pimpala Rd, Morphett Vale, South Australia.

With VENERGY Solar Solutions, Highway Meat was able to install 120 SIMAX Solar Panels and and Aurora Power 1 inverter. SIMAX solar panels are known to have positive tolerance providing reliable output and a guaranteed tolerance of +3%; high module efficiency of up to 15.5%; and superior compressive strength, which can withstand harsh weather such as 2400 Pa of wind and snow loads of up to 5400Pa.

Aurora inverters have dual input section to process two strings with independent MPPT, high speed and precise MPPT algorithm for real-time power tracking and energy harvesting, as well as transformer-less operation for high performance efficiencies of up to 97%. The wide input voltage range makes the inverter suitable to low power installations with reduced string size. Aurora inverters have been designed to withstand the harshest environmental conditions. Since then, they have benefitted from high electrical savings estimated at an average of 17,203 AUD per annum or 172,031 AUD in ten years. With an expected system payback of a little over than two (2) years, savings acquired from electrical cost reduction was able to generate enough cash to pay for VENERGY’s solar system. With reduced operational cost, Highway Meat was able to maintain its competitive edge.
