A manufacturer’s warranty product warranty covers the solar panel for materials and manufacturing failures. For example the glass has cracked without something having impacted it. Then that’s what this Warranty covers. This essentially guarantees the physical condition of the panels under normal operating conditions.

”The 25-year Manufacturer’s Power Output Warranty assumes that if the panels are in good working order, they will continue to generate a power output of a minimum of 80% for that period. If this does not occur, then the manufacturer at their sole discretion will act to resolve the issue using one of a number of options at their disposal to make up the loss in power depending on the problem. This could include repairing or replacing the defective PV modules.”
